Commercial use

You may use these guides and templates to help other people set up PixWork, as a paid service. There is no scheme and nothing to apply for — but there is a line on what you may call yourself.

What you may charge for

Using PixWork and the guides, templates, and prompts published on this site, you may offer the following under your own name, for money. Nothing needs to be applied for or reported in advance.

PixWork’s own pricing (the plans in the app, and the Company Brief add-on) is separate from what you charge. Prices vary by region and change over time, so check the current figure in the store listing or in the app.

Schemes that do not exist

PixApps operates none of the following for third-party setup services. Do not describe any of them as existing.

If a real scheme with vetting or a contract is ever introduced, it will be announced on this page. Until then, this list is the whole picture.

Descriptions you must not use

Because none of the above exists, the following are untrue. Do not use them in advertising, on a business card, on a website, in a proposal, or in a social media profile.

What to say instead

Describe the service as what it is — an independent one. You are welcome to use this wording as-is.

This is an independent service using PixWork.
It is not an official, certified, endorsed, or agency service of PixApps or PixWork.

Plain factual descriptions are fine too — "I provide PixWork setup services", "I will configure PixWork for you". What to avoid is any wording that makes your relationship with PixApps look closer than it is.

Trademarks, logos, and screenshots

When a use is ambiguous, err on the side of not doing it. This list is a minimum, not an exhaustive one.

Where your responsibility sits

The service you provide is your service. PixApps is not a party to it.

Appendix — starting a paid service

From here on this is practical suggestion rather than terms. None of it is required.

Use PixWork end to end with your own account first. Scanning a few cards and going all the way through the Google Sheets connection is what lets you describe it in specifics. Then read "How to use PixWork" and "Google Sheets column layout" on this site.

The "Setup and operations checklists" page works as-is for discovery and for making sure nothing is missed.
