Company Brief

Research a company starting from the name PixWork read off the card, so the groundwork before a meeting happens in the same flow as saving the contact.

Three depths of lookup

Starting from the company name, three methods are available.

MethodWhat it doesNetwork
Google searchOpens a search for the company name in the device browser. PixWork only launches itIn the browser
AI InsightsGenerates an overview and strengths from what the AI already knowsYes
Company BriefSearches the web for current information and summarises what it findsYes

Company Brief runs on purchased tickets. Check the plan screen in the app and the store listing for how tickets are sold and how your plan treats them.

How to read a Company Brief

A Company Brief separates what it could confirm from the AI’s own summary and suggestions. The confirmed side carries the source URL and the date it was retrieved.

If you are using it to prepare for a meeting, open the cited sources for anything you plan to build the conversation on. The summary is there to save reading time, not to stand in for checking.

The language of the generated text follows the language setting in the app. Names and company names read from a card stay in the language printed on the card, whatever that setting says.

Where the results are kept

Research results are saved on the device as company information, reachable from any contact at that company.

With the Google Sheets connection on, company information syncs to the Companies sheet. If a teammate has already researched the same company, their result is shared through the sheet.

The Companies column layout is on "Google Sheets column layout". Unlike Contacts, that second sheet requires the first fourteen columns to match position for position.
