プライバシーポリシー
本プライバシーポリシーは、アプリ「PixMeal」（以下「本アプリ」）およびその関連ウェブサイトの開発者（以下「運営者」）が、ユーザーの情報をどのように取り扱うかについて説明するものです。
1. 収集する情報とその利用目的
本アプリは、「アカウント不要」で「端末を中心としたデータ管理」を採用しています。通常のアプリ利用において、氏名やメールアドレスなど、ユーザーを直接識別する情報の入力は求めません。また、氏名やメールアドレスを、アナリティクスや広告効果測定のイベントとして意図的に送信しません。ただし、分析・広告サービス提供者が、デバイス識別子、IPアドレス、概算地域、利用情報等を処理する場合があります。
ただし、以下の機能を利用する場合に、データが外部サービスへ送信されます。
- AI機能（食事スキャン、料理名による再解析、週次レポート、AIへの深掘り相談、国籍・食文化の入力内容の判定）: これらの機能を利用すると、次のデータが運営者が管理するAIプロキシサーバーを経由して、AI解析サービス（Google Gemini API および Cloudflare Workers AI）に送信されます（以下は代表例であり、これらに限りません）。
- ユーザーが自発的にカメラで撮影、またはアップロードした食事画像。
- 食事の記録内容: AIが認識した料理名、栄養値の目安、タグ、複数料理の内訳、ユーザーが修正した料理名、食事の時刻、過去のAIコメント・助言・食事傾向のメモ、週次レポートで扱うその週と前週の集計値、前週のレポートから引き継ぐ短い仮説・問い。
- プロフィール情報: 目標、国籍・食文化（自由記述で入力し、端末内で判定できない場合は、その判定のために入力したテキスト自体を送信することがあります）、性別・身長・体重・自由記述の背景などの設定値、AIの返答言語、選択したAIペルソナ、継続利用の状況（連続記録日数、アプリ内レベル）、料理名の呼び方の好み、AIがこれまでの記録から生成した食事傾向の要約とユーザー像。
- 深掘り相談で入力・選択した質問文。
- 食事スキャンでは、解析時の季節と端末の現地時刻。端末で位置情報の利用を許可している場合は、これに加えて、端末で丸めた座標と、その座標の逆ジオコーディングで取得できた場合はおおよその地名（下記「おおよその位置情報」参照）。
対応するアプリバージョンで、かつ所定の条件を満たすリクエストは、Cloudflare Workers AI が先に処理することがあります。対象外のリクエスト、または Cloudflare Workers AI での処理や結果の検証が完了しない場合は、Google Gemini API が処理します。エコモード（ユーザー自身の API キーを設定して利用する機能）では Cloudflare Workers AI は使用せず、設定された API キーで Google AI Studio を呼び出します。運営者側でこれらの画像・データをAIの学習目的に永続保存することはありません。なお、各AI提供元（Google、Cloudflare）のデータ処理方針については、各社のプライバシーポリシーをご参照ください。
- 広告（リワード広告を含む）: 本アプリでは、無料での追加利用枠等を提供するため、第三者の広告配信サービス（Google AdMob）を利用しています。広告配信サービスは、パーソナライズド広告のためにデバイス識別子等の情報を収集することがあります。EEA（欧州経済領域）および英国等のユーザーは、アプリの設定画面（Privacy Settings）からいつでもパーソナライズド広告の同意内容を変更または撤回することができます。詳細は各広告サービスのプライバシーポリシーをご確認ください。
- アナリティクスおよび広告効果測定: アプリの品質向上や不具合修正のため、Google Firebase Analytics および Meta（Facebook）の計測SDKを利用し、利用画面や機能の使用状況、設定や利用傾向に関する属性（言語、国籍コード、プラン、AIペルソナ、連続記録日数、アプリ内レベル、利用回数など）、イベントに関連する端末内の識別子（食事記録のIDなど）を取得する場合があります。これらのサービス提供者が、デバイス識別子、IPアドレスに基づく概算地域、利用情報等を処理する場合があります。氏名やメールアドレスをアナリティクスや広告効果測定のイベントとして意図的に送信することはありません。
- おおよその位置情報（AI解析の精度向上）: 端末で位置情報の利用を許可している場合に限り、AI食事解析の地域・食文化コンテキストを補うため、おおよその位置情報（プライバシー保護のため、緯度・経度をそれぞれ約0.01度単位〔緯度方向でおおむね1km〕に丸めた座標）を、地名への変換（逆ジオコーディング）のために OpenStreetMap Nominatim（openstreetmap.org）へ送信することがあります。また、端末で丸めた座標は、食事解析の文脈として上記のAI解析サービス（Google Gemini API または Cloudflare Workers AI）にも送信されます。逆ジオコーディングでおおよその地名を取得できた場合は、その地名も送信されます（解析時の季節と端末の現地時刻は、位置情報の許可に関係なく食事スキャン時に送信されます）。厳密な位置は送信せず、位置情報の利用は端末の権限設定でいつでも拒否できます。
- 料理名の修正データ（AI認識精度の改善）: ユーザーがAIの認識した料理名を修正した場合、その修正内容は、氏名・メールアドレス・ユーザーID等の直接識別子と紐付けない形式（修正前後の料理名、おおよその地域〔都市・地域レベルの地名と国情報〕、プロフィールで国籍を設定している場合はその国コード）でサーバーに記録されます。記録されたデータは統計的に集計され、全ユーザー共通のAI認識精度の改善（誤認識傾向の辞書生成）のためにのみ利用されます。集計された修正内容（修正前後の料理名・地域・出現頻度）は、この辞書生成の処理のためにAI解析サービス（Google Gemini API）に送信されます。ユーザーID・端末識別子・正確な位置情報・食事画像がこの記録に含まれることはありません。
- ウェブサイト上のアクセス解析および広告効果測定: 関連ウェブサイトでは、ページの利用状況および広告効果を測定するため、Meta Pixel および Google Analytics 4 を利用しています（Google Analytics 4 は、同意前および同意を拒否した場合も、Cookie を保存しない cookieless のページ閲覧の計測を送信します。分析用 Cookie の保存は、本ウェブサイトの Cookie 同意設定で同意した後にのみ有効になります）。これらのサービス提供者は、自らのプライバシーポリシーに基づき、Cookie、IPアドレス、ブラウザ・端末情報、閲覧情報等を処理する場合があります。取得した情報は、ウェブサイトの改善および広告効果測定のために利用されます。
2. データの保存と保持期間
食事記録・設定データなどのユーザーデータは、ユーザーのデバイス内のローカルデータベースに保存され、運営者がこれらに直接アクセスすることはありません。運営者のサーバーに継続的に保存されるのは、上記1.に記載した料理名の修正データのみです。このほか、AI解析の処理過程で解析結果が最大24時間程度サーバーに一時保存されるほか、不正利用防止のため、端末ごとの識別子を用いたアクセス制限記録が短期間（最大24時間程度）保存されることがあります。
データの保持期間:
- 食事記録・設定データ: ユーザーがアプリを使用している間、デバイス内に保持されます。アプリをアンインストールすると、アプリの保存領域にあるローカルデータは削除されます（iOS のキーチェーンに保存されるエコモードの API キーは除きます。下記 3. を参照）。
- AI送信データ（食事画像・食事の記録内容・プロフィール情報等）: AI解析のために、運営者が管理するAIプロキシサーバーを経由してAI解析サービスへ送信されます。運営者側で食事画像を永続的に保存することはありません。AI解析の処理過程で解析結果が最大24時間程度サーバーに一時保存されることがありますが、その後は自動的に失効します。
- 料理名の修正データ: 上記1.に記載した形式（氏名・メールアドレス・ユーザーID等の直接識別子と紐付けない形式）で運営者のサーバーに継続的に保存され、統計的に集計されて、全ユーザー共通のAI認識精度の改善のためにのみ利用されます。ユーザーID・端末識別子・正確な位置情報・食事画像は含まれません。
- アクセス制限記録: 不正利用防止のため、端末ごとの識別子を用いたアクセス制限記録が短期間（最大24時間程度）保存されることがあります。
- 広告関連データ: 第三者広告サービス（Google AdMob）によって管理されます。詳細はGoogleのデータ保持ポリシーをご参照ください。
- アナリティクス・広告効果測定データ: アプリの Google Firebase Analytics および Meta（Facebook）の計測SDK、ならびに関連ウェブサイトの Google Analytics 4 および Meta Pixel により収集され、各社のデータ保持ポリシーに基づいて管理されます。
3. データの削除方法
本アプリはアカウント登録を必要としないため、食事記録や設定データはユーザーのデバイス内を中心に管理されています。ユーザーは、端末内に保存された食事記録や設定データを、以下の方法で削除できます。
個別データの削除:
- 食事記録の削除: アプリ内の記録一覧から、個別の食事記録をスワイプまたは削除ボタンで削除できます。
- AIの設定リセット: 設定画面からAI関連の設定をリセットできます。
すべてのデータの削除:
- アプリのアンインストール: アプリをアンインストールすることで、アプリの保存領域にあるデータ（食事記録、設定、AIカスタマイズデータ等）が削除されます。エコモードの API キーは、iOS ではキーチェーンに保存されるため、アンインストールだけでは残ることがあります。iOS では、アンインストールの前にアプリの設定画面のエコモードで「APIキーを削除」を実行してください（この操作で API キーが削除されます。エコモードのオン／オフの切り替えだけでは API キーは保持されます）。
- デバイスの設定からのデータ消去（Android）: Android では、お使いのデバイスの「設定」→「アプリ」→「PixMeal」→「ストレージ」→「データを消去」からも、アプリの保存領域にあるすべてのデータを削除できます。iOS では、上記のとおりアプリを削除してください。
第三者サービスに送信されたデータについて:
- AI解析のために送信されたデータ: 運営者側で食事画像を永続的に保存することはありません。AI解析の処理過程でサーバーに一時保存される解析結果は、最大24時間程度で自動的に失効します。各AI提供元（Google、Cloudflare）のデータ処理方針については、各社のプライバシーポリシーをご参照ください。
- 広告サービスやアナリティクス収集データ: 広告サービスやアナリティクスが収集したデータの管理・削除については、各サービス提供元であるGoogleおよびMetaのプライバシーポリシーと設定をご確認ください。必要に応じて、デバイスの広告IDのリセットや、広告設定・同意設定の変更を行うことができます。
- 料理名の修正データ: 料理名の修正データは、氏名・メールアドレス・ユーザーID等の直接識別子と紐付けない形式で記録され（ユーザーID・端末識別子・正確な位置情報・食事画像は含みません）、統計的に集計されます。そのため、特定のユーザーに対応するデータとして個別に識別し、削除できない場合があります。
4. ユーザーの権利
ユーザーは、自身のデータに関して以下の権利を有します。
- アクセスの権利: アプリ内でいつでも自身のデータを閲覧できます。
- 削除の権利: 上記の方法により、いつでもデータを削除できます。
- 同意の撤回: アプリ内の広告のパーソナライズについては、アプリの設定画面（Privacy Settings）からいつでも同意を撤回できます。また、本ウェブサイトのCookie同意設定を変更・リセットしたい場合は、以下のボタンをクリックしてください。

5. 第三者への提供
運営者は、法令に基づく場合や、上記1.に記載した各機能（おおよその位置情報を地名へ変換するための OpenStreetMap Nominatim への送信を含みます）のためのデータ送信を除き、ユーザーのデータを第三者に販売・提供することはありません。
6. お子様のプライバシー
本アプリは13歳未満のお子様を対象としたサービスではありません。13歳未満の方の個人情報を意図的に収集することはありません。
7. 変更と改定
運営者は、必要に応じて本ポリシーを改定することがあります。重要な変更がある場合は、アプリ内の通知等でお知らせいたします。
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how the developer of PixMeal ("the App") and its related website handles your information. In this document, "we" and "the Operator" refer to the individual developer of the App.
1. Data Collection and Usage
The App is designed with an account-free, device-centered data management approach. We do not require account registration and do not intentionally request names, email addresses, or other directly identifying information for normal use of the App. We also do not intentionally send names or email addresses as analytics or ad-measurement events. However, analytics and advertising providers may process device identifiers, IP addresses, approximate region, and usage information.
However, certain features require data transmission to external services:
- AI Features (Meal Scan, Re-analysis by Dish Name, Weekly Report, Deep Dive Q&A, and Nationality/Food-Culture Input Resolution): If you choose to use these features, the following data is sent through the Operator's AI proxy server to AI processing services: Google Gemini API and Cloudflare Workers AI (the items below are representative examples and not an exhaustive list).
- Meal images you take or upload yourself.
- Your meal records: dish names recognized by the AI, estimated nutrition values, tags, per-dish breakdowns, dish names you corrected, meal times, past AI comments, advice, and eating-pattern notes, the weekly and previous-week aggregates used by the Weekly Report, and a short hypothesis or open question carried over from the previous week's report.
- Your profile: goal, nationality/food culture (if you entered it as free text and it cannot be resolved on your device, the text itself may be sent to determine it), settings such as gender, height, weight, and free-text background, AI response language, the AI persona you selected, your usage continuity (logging streak and in-app level), your preferred dish-name wording, and the eating-pattern summary and user profile that the AI has generated from your past records.
- The question text you enter or select in Deep Dive.
- For meal scans, the season at the time of analysis and the local time on your device. If you have granted location permission, additionally the coordinates rounded on your device and, when reverse geocoding succeeds, the approximate place name obtained from them (see "Approximate Location" below).
On supported App versions, requests that meet certain conditions may be processed first by Cloudflare Workers AI. Requests outside those conditions, and requests whose processing or result validation by Cloudflare Workers AI does not complete, are processed by Google Gemini API. In Eco Mode (a feature where you use your own API key), Cloudflare Workers AI is not used; the App calls Google AI Studio with the API key you configured. The Operator does not permanently store these images or data for AI training purposes. Please refer to the privacy policies of Google and Cloudflare for details on their data handling practices.
- Advertising (Including Reward Ads): The App uses third-party advertising services (Google AdMob) to offer free additional usage quotas. These services may collect device identifiers and similar data for the purpose of personalized advertising. Users in the EEA and UK can manage or revoke their consent for personalized ads at any time via the "Privacy Settings" in the App's settings menu. Please refer to each advertising provider's privacy policy for details.
- Analytics and Ad Measurement: The App uses Google Firebase Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) measurement SDK to understand user behavior, improve app quality, and optimize our services. These services may collect usage data such as screens visited and features used, attributes about your settings and usage patterns (language, nationality code, plan, AI persona, logging streak, in-app level, usage counts, etc.), and in-device identifiers associated with events (such as meal record IDs). These providers may also process device identifiers, an approximate region derived from your IP address, and usage information. We do not intentionally send names or email addresses as analytics or ad-measurement events.
- Approximate Location (to improve AI analysis): Only if you have granted location permission on your device, the App may send your approximate location (coordinates rounded to approximately 0.01 degrees, roughly 1 km, for privacy) to OpenStreetMap Nominatim (openstreetmap.org) for reverse geocoding (converting coordinates into a place name), in order to add regional and food-culture context to the AI meal analysis. The coordinates rounded on your device and, when reverse geocoding succeeds, the approximate place name obtained from them are also sent to the AI processing services above (Google Gemini API or Cloudflare Workers AI) as context for meal analysis (the season and your device's local time are sent with every meal scan regardless of location permission). Your precise location is never sent, and you can deny location access at any time via your device's permission settings.
- Dish-Name Corrections (to improve AI recognition): When you correct a dish name recognized by the AI, the correction is recorded on our server without being linked to your name, email address, user ID, or other direct identifiers. Each record contains the original and corrected dish names, your approximate area (city/region-level place name and country information), and, if you have set a nationality in your profile, its country code. This data is aggregated statistically and used solely to improve AI recognition accuracy for all users (by building a dictionary of common recognition errors); the aggregated corrections (dish names, area, and frequency) are sent to our AI processing service (Google Gemini API) to generate this dictionary. No user IDs, device identifiers, precise location data, or meal images are included in these records.
- Website Analytics and Advertising Measurement: The related website uses the Meta Pixel and Google Analytics 4 to measure website usage and advertising performance (before you consent, and if you decline, Google Analytics 4 still sends a cookieless page-view ping without storing cookies; analytics cookies are stored only after you consent in this website's cookie consent settings). These providers may process cookies, IP addresses, browser and device information, and page-view data according to their respective privacy policies. The information obtained is used to improve the website and measure advertising performance.
2. Data Storage and Retention
Your application data (meal logs, settings) is stored in the local database on your device, and we do not have access to it. The only data retained on an ongoing basis on our server is the dish-name correction data described in Section 1 above. In addition, AI analysis results may be temporarily cached on our server for up to about 24 hours as part of processing, and rate-limiting records based on a per-device identifier may be kept for short periods (up to about 24 hours) to prevent abuse.
Data Retention Periods:
- Meal logs and settings: Retained on your device for as long as you use the App. Local data in the App's storage area is deleted when you uninstall the App (except the Eco Mode API key, which iOS stores in the Keychain; see Section 3 below).
- AI-transmitted data (meal images, meal records, profile information, etc.): Sent through the Operator's AI proxy server to AI processing services for analysis. Meal images are not permanently stored by the Operator. AI analysis results may be temporarily cached on our server for up to about 24 hours as part of processing, after which they expire automatically.
- Dish-name correction data: Retained on an ongoing basis on our server in the form described in Section 1 above (not linked to your name, email address, user ID, or other direct identifiers), aggregated statistically, and used solely to improve AI recognition accuracy for all users. These records do not include user IDs, device identifiers, precise location data, or meal images.
- Rate-limiting records: Rate-limiting records based on a per-device identifier may be kept for short periods (up to about 24 hours) to prevent abuse.
- Advertising data: Managed by third-party advertising services (Google AdMob). Please refer to Google's data retention policies for details.
- Analytics and ad measurement data: Collected by Google Firebase Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) measurement SDK in the App, and by Google Analytics 4 and the Meta Pixel on the related website, and managed according to each provider's data retention policies.
3. How to Delete Your Data
Since the App does not require account registration, your meal logs and settings are managed primarily on your device. You can delete your meal records and settings data stored on your device using the following methods:
Deleting Individual Data:
- Meal records: You can delete individual meal records from the records list by swiping or using the delete button within the App.
- AI settings: You can reset AI-related settings from the Settings screen within the App.
Deleting All Data:
- Uninstalling the App: Uninstalling the App deletes the data in the App's storage area (meal records, settings, AI customization data, etc.). The Eco Mode API key is stored in the Keychain on iOS and may remain after uninstalling alone; on iOS, select "Delete API Key" in the Eco Mode section of the App's settings before uninstalling (this operation deletes the API key; simply switching Eco Mode off keeps the key).
- Clearing App data via device settings (Android): On Android, you can also delete all data in the App's storage area by navigating to your device's "Settings" → "Apps" → "PixMeal" → "Storage" → "Clear Data." On iOS, delete the App as described above.
Data Sent to Third-Party Services:
- Data Sent for AI Analysis: Meal images are not permanently stored by the Operator. AI analysis results temporarily cached on our server as part of processing expire automatically within about 24 hours. Please refer to the privacy policies of Google and Cloudflare for details on their data handling practices.
- Advertising and Analytics Data: For data collected by advertising and analytics services, please refer to the privacy policies and settings provided by Google and Meta. Where available, you may reset your device’s advertising identifier or adjust your advertising and consent preferences.
- Dish-Name Corrections: Dish-name corrections are recorded without being linked to your name, email address, user ID, or other direct identifiers (they do not include user IDs, device identifiers, precise location data, or meal images) and are aggregated statistically. Therefore, we may not be able to identify or delete data corresponding to a specific user individually.
4. Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding your data:
- Right of Access: You can view your data within the App at any time.
- Right of Deletion: You can delete your data at any time using the methods described above.
- Right to Withdraw Consent: You can withdraw your consent for personalized advertising in the App through its Privacy Settings. To change or reset your Cookie consent settings for this website, please click the button below:

5. Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell or share your data with third parties, except as strictly necessary to provide the features described in Section 1 above (including sending approximate location to OpenStreetMap Nominatim for reverse geocoding), or when required by applicable law.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
7. Changes to This Policy
The Operator may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through in-app notifications or other means.
