Handwriting on a New Wall
The black ink in my current supply is nearly exhausted. I ventured toward the ruins surrounding Alvis Square to scavenge for writing implements.
While navigating the area, I observed that the back alley, which had been navigable as recently as last week, has completely disappeared due to the movement of a rift. In its place, a new wall of rubble has emerged.
On this newly formed surface, I discovered a notation in Milte's handwriting: "4:17 PM, light shines from the west (unconfirmed)."
I must investigate the temporal alignment of this observation with the recorded state of the city. If the light's direction is indeed as written, it implies a specific spatial orientation that should have been superseded by the current distortions. However, the presence of her handwriting on a structure that did not exist a week ago suggests a discrepancy in the causality of physical accumulation.
I will attempt to secure a new supply of ink tomorrow. The weight of the empty bottle in my pocket feels disproportionately heavy.
What moved that day
