Blue Ink and the Sealed Basement

Year 417, Month of the Star, Day 18. Convergence Calendar, Day 198.

The remaining black ink in my possession has completely run dry (Confirmed). To continue my records, I ventured into the rubble of the restricted underground archives.

Through a gap in the collapsed ceiling, I succeeded in pulling out the drawer of the desk once used by Milte. From it, I recovered her favored blue ink bottle and a torn fragment of a notebook. The ink is undamaged and remains perfectly usable.

On the scrap of paper, there was a passage crossed out with heavy, double lines.
The only legible words were three: "the needle," "not stopped," and "observation" (Confirmed).

~~To be verified~~ She knew beforehand what was going to happen.

The handwriting analysis perfectly matches her registered signature on record (Confirmed).

Just before I returned to the surface after the recovery, I heard a massive collapse behind me. The sole entry path leading to the ruins of the underground archives is now completely sealed by giant boulders (Confirmed). Any further salvage or on-site verification is now permanently impossible.

I am writing this record with the blue ink left in my hands. It sinks into the paper slightly faster than the black.
